What I'm loving - COLOURED LINER.

Recently I've been LOVING using colours. Not just my standard brown smokey eyes. I started by adding berry tones into my eye makeup and now I'm loving all kinds of colours. But this post is all about coloured liner. I've been OBSESSING over @tominamakeup on Instagram, she does the most amazing makeup and she uses a lot of colour. I noticed she would do a smokey eye using a colour and she adds a completely different colour liner in the water line, not just your regular black or brown and it looks so good, so I decided to give it a go myself.
I already had a few 'coloured' liner pencils, I say it like that because the colours I have are Bronzes & Golds which aren't really colourful. I knew I loved the NYX Slide on Liner pencils as I have one in a beautiful copper and they last all day on the waterline, so I decided to get all the colourful ones, yes all of them! They come in 16 shades and I have 11 of them, they are super creamy and pigmented. The shades range from blacks and browns to electric blue and vibrant green! I also really love the Sephora Waterproof pencil liners they are the same consistency. In the pictures from L-R there is Platinum, Glitzy Gold, Golden Bronze, Jewel, Purple Blaze, Pretty Violet, Sunrise Blue, Azure, Esmeralda, Tropical Green & Golden Olive. I love switching up my eye looks now by adding a pop of colour in to the water line. I recently did a Purple/Blueish smokey eye and in my waterline I used Sunrise Blue and it really made the look. I cant wait to use the bright green. I love using the gold liner in my regular brown bronze smokey eyes, i'm really loving using colours at the minuet and I can't wait to use all the other amazing colours. The MAC Pearlglide Intense liners are also really nice they do have glitter in them and the aren't 'recommended' in the waterline but I've wore

them and they have been fine. You could also use the coloured liners as an eyeshadow base because they are creamy. It's a nice way to add a bit of colour into your makeup. If your more of a neutral person you could do your smokey eye and a gold into the water line or add a blue for a pop of colour and it looks amazing.

Here are some of the looks I've created with coloured liners. For the top picture I used the NYX liner in Purple Blaze, I wanted to use the purple with really warm colours so I used an orange eyeshadow from Inglot and a deep orange and berry shadows for a contrast. The purple makes this look different and people are always shocked that they can actually wear a colour liner instead of black or brown. In the bottom pictures I have Sunrise Blue NYX liner and this is one of my favourites. The pigment I am wearing is the Inglot 120 and I knew I wanted to use the purple and blue shadows and add the blue liner, because I'm wearing similar colours, it doesn't look so drastic. I can't wait to use the bright green liner in a look. I've really been loving using colours, I'm actually going to my colour Z Palette full of makeup geek eyeshadows and most of my Inglot pigments are colours. Ive been so inspired by @tominamakeup on Instagram you need go go and check her page out, you will 100% feel more inspired to use colours. I've just purchased two Zoeva liners in a purple and a red and the Makeup Geek liner in Mint. I can't wait to play and create more looks, keep an eye out on my Instagram @ellietaylorrxx to see more colourful makeup looks.
The lashes I'm wearing in the pictures are the Peekaboo Lashes in the style COVERGIRL (the top picture) and WHIP LASH (the bottom picture). Peekaboo have been kind enough to give you lovely people a 15% off code. Use the code 'ellietaylor15'. These lashes have quickly become my favourites!
