UPDATED FOUNDATION ROUTINE!
I've been getting the same questions asked now for a while. What do foundation are you wearing? What have you got on your skin? So I've decided to do an updated foundation routine as I pretty much don't use the items I talked about in my last foundation routine (I'll leave a link below if you'd like to see that also). Some things are the same but the main items have changed. Anything else that I use on my skin Highlighter, Blush items like that are in my Get The Glow blogpost (again I'll leave a link below).

My favourite primer is still Natural Radiance by mac, I have really oily skin and this primer really helps keep my oil at bay. Now for the best bit, foundation. My new FAVOURITE foundation is the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, I use it with a damp beauty blender and I LOVE it. It gives a beautiful full coverage finish but it feels so lightweight, I have a full first impressions/review blog post on the foundation so I'll link that below. Then I use a concealer the same colour as my foundation to conceal any redness and my under eyes. I've been liking the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer blended in with a damp beauty blender, it's not heavy or cakey it's creamy and comfortable. Once I've done my eyeshadow I use the mac Prep + Prime highlighter in Light Boost (Must Have!) under my eyes mixed with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in the lightest shade mixed together to highlight my under eyes, again I use a damp beauty blender. I've been switching between two bronzers recently, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer and the Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion like I said I've done a whole blogpost on my favourite blushes & highlighter in my Glow blogpost so that's all on there. My favourite bronzer brush is the mac 129. I've recently been setting my under eyes with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder I still like the old way I used to do it but it doesn't look as caked and I've been using the Real Techniques Setting Brush. And then lastly I shower myself in Fix + by mac.
I hope this answered some of your questions there's other blogposts on blushes and highlighters but these are the main products that I use everyday!

I really like your post,.This is very impressive ..You have shared many good tips about makeup and i want some information about makeup "setting spray"
ReplyDeleteGreat post with some great products. I've been wondering about getting the beauty blender. I used beauty bays sponge but they discontinued it and now the one I currently have is on its last legs. I ordered a couple of sponges recently that I weren't really impressed with, they didn't expand when wet and they weren't soft. Is it worth getting the beauty blender?
ReplyDeleteI love the beauty blender. I use it everyday x
DeleteThanks for replying, I got one and I love it :) just wondering, can you recommend a good eyebrow kit or powder? I recently tried the ABH dipbrow for a change as I wanted to define my brows better but I wasn't too keen on the texture and felt like it was a little harsh looking. Do you have any tips as yours look lovely x
DeleteI use the Dipbrow currently. Before I died my hair last week I used the mac brim Fluidline. That's really nice I prefer the textur on that x
DeleteDo you have any tips and tricks for sticking eyelashes on? I really struggle x
ReplyDeleteLet the glue get a little tacky and pop the lash on in the centre then pin down the outer edges. I use tweezers to put mine one
