MAC Alluring Aquatic collection

The new Alluring Aquatic collection launched on Thursday at MAC and I just love it! This is my collection. I got all 5 of the lipsticks, 1 gloss an extra dimension bronzer and the 127 split fibre brush.

First let's talk about the packaging. It's just amazing. It's metallic turquoise with little water droplets on, the water drops are 3D I'd say, the packaging is bumpy to make it look like it's been splashed. This is probably some of my favourite packaging!

So the 'Extra Dimension Bronzer' are a new thing for MAC they did the highlighters but for this collection they changed it up. There are 2 of these in the collection I got the lighter of the two, it's called Aphrodite's Shell. It's a warm golden colour with more of a pearlized glow finish rather than a glittery shimmery finish it's really pretty and such a nice soft colour. The 127 Split Fibre Brush is a new brush for this collection made up of half natural fibres and half synthetic fibres. This brush is SO soft! Probably the softest brush I've felt. It's not a rounded edge brush like the 129 powder brush each side is flat and they meet at the top in a flat point, it's a really nice brush and it comes in the turquoise colour to stick with the theme. (there is a split fibre eyeshadow brush that also came out with this collection)

Now to my favourite MAC products, as you soon will learn, the lipsticks, from Left to Right the first one is Siren Song and it's a lustre finish it's a champagne goldy colour it's quite pale and sheer most peoples reaction is yuck but this one is so beautiful, on its own it can wash the face out but with a browny/pink toned lipliner this lipstick is beautiful! The next is Pet Me Please, this is a frost finish. I was never a huge frost fan until this collection launched it was all about metallic and glossy, it's a pink tone silver I'd say, it looks 10x better with a gloss over (which is the gloss I bought but will talk about it later). Next is Enchanted One, when we first saw this lipstick a month ago we knew this would be the one everyone wanted, it's the only matte in the collection it's a warm brown nudey colour it's very similar to MAC Cosy Up and MAC Kinda Sexy, it's such a nice lipstick it was the first to sell out online! The next two are Mystical which is a mid-tone creamy rose colour and Goddess of The Sea which is a darkish purple colour these two are both Creamsheen finishes and leave a slight hint of colour on the lips after the shine has gone. All the lipsticks in the collection are so nice and so different! I would defiantly recommend them and the packaging is AMAZE!

The last thing to talk about is the gloss. This gloss is beautiful it's called Water Deities. It's a pinky colour and it's got a beautiful shimmer. I would never usually wear a shimmery lipgloss or a frost lipstick but this gloss over the lipstick Pet Me Please is just so amazing! It makes your lips into a metallic pinky silver it's beautiful! It's so nice on its own also, I'd wear it with a lipliner personally but it's so pretty! There are 5 lipglass' in the collection and they are all beautiful but this one was my favourite!

I hope you liked this post and hopefully it helped you!

Glowy makeup

Makeup yesterday for work! Glowy dewy skin & a soft contour!
To create the glow I used my normal foundation which is mac studio fix but I used nars sheer glow on top if it to give me a dewy base. Did my makeup as normal, but used pearl cream colour base and a 188 brush both from mac on my cheek bones and forehead!

Today's Look

Today's look...
I'm wearing my amazing new jacket from River Island, love it so much!
On my lips i'm wearing a new product which i'm loving, it's Bare Minerals Marvellous Moxie lip liner in Energised. These lip liners are amazing I have another which is a nude but this one is a bright neon coral. They are so creamy and stay on for such a long time, I will deffo be looking at the other shades they do in the lip liners! With the lip liner i'm wearing Illamasqua lipstick in Over which is a neon coral also it's nearly the exact same shade as the lip liner. I went with a soft smokey eye so it didn't take the attention off the amazing lip colour!

Mac Volcanic Ash

If your looking for an exfoliator I suggest you give this one a go! It's Mac's Volcanic Ash exfoliator, it's AMAZING. I love using this on my body and face it just clears everything off and leaves your skin super soft. It's not like a normal exfoliator where it leaves your skin feeling tight and sore! Its so amazing couldn't say anymore good things about it!

Night out makeup

Makeup by me on me!Face- Mac Studio Fix Liquid mixed with Illamasqua Skin Base. Mac Prep + Prime highlighting pen in Light Boost and Illamasqua Skin Base in SB1 (which is white) mixed together for a really light undereye to set my under eyes I use mac shaping powder in Emphasize. Mac Mineralize Skinfinish to set all of the makeup. To highlight my skin I used Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle (shimmer). To contour I use Nars Laguna bronzing powder (my favourite bronzer ever)
Brows/Eyes- Through my brows I use Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate to just line the bottom of my brows to fill them in and shape them I use Mac eyeshadow in Charcoal Brown. To highlight under my brow I use Mac Prep + Prime highlighter pen in light boost. To prime my eye I use Mac Painterly Paintpot to create a base. I always start by blending a medium brown colour into my crease I used Mac Soft Brown using a Mac 224 blending brush, then using a flat brush (239 is my favourite) I packed Brulé on to my lid starting near my tear duct to the middle of my eye, with the same brush I used Soft Brown again then Embark on my outer corner and into my crease to create depth. To finish I added Mac eyeshadow in Carbon and added a winged liner with Illamasqua's precision gel liner and added lashes.
