My Go To Summer Makeup Look.

It's no secret how much I love a warm gold/bronze/copper sparkly smoky eye.. I wear them every chance I get, this look I wear in the day time and then take it into an evening look by adding a few things!

It's a really soft blown out look there's gunna be lots go blending and building the colours that's how I prefer to do it instead of going straight in the crease with one colour. I always start off with my base, if you've seen my updated foundation routine blog post (if not I'll link it at the end) you'll know that I always use the Natural Radiance primer by Mac and i'm SO obsessed with the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation by Nars. This look is all about bronzy glowy summery skin! And this foundation is so perfect for summer as it is really lightweight (I'll leave my review on this foundation and the end also) but it still gives beautiful coverage, I use a damp beauty blender with the foundation. Then I conceal any ares I feel I need to and my undereyes with the Radiant Creamy Concealer again by Nars (I use a similar colour to my foundation so it hides the areas I want to) again I use a damp beauty blender. Then I move on to my brows, I've been loving the Fluidline Brow Creme in True Brunette by Mac with a 263 brush also by Mac. I use Prolongwear Concealer and a 242 brush by Mac to highlight my brow bone then prime my eyelids with Soft Ochre Paintpot which is another step I have to do! Now for eyeshadow! I start off with a Zoeva 224 Luxe Defined Crease brush and Peach
Smoothie Eyeshadow by Makeup Geek, really softly I blend this in and above my crease in circle motions and I keep adding the colour until i'm happy. Then with the same brush I get a little tap of the Urban Decay eyeshadow in Riff and add this colour directly into the crease and keep building up the colour until I get the depth I want. Then I use Swiss Chocolate eyeshadow by Mac (not shown in the picture) with a Mac 239 brush and pack it on to my outer corner and blend it into the crease with a Mac 217. Then for my favourite part with my finger I use the Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Golden Peach (this eyeshadow was limited edition, now it could still be in stores or online or in a CCO store. If you can't find that the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette, the shimmery shade is almost identical because I originally bought the Bobbi Brown one because it's so similar). I just pack this on to the front part of my eye and adding more until i'm happy, sometimes I use it wet with a 242 brush but I find my fingers work the best for it. I then like to take the gold shade from the Nars Jubilation Dual Intensity blush and with a Zoeva 237 Detail Shader pack it on my tearduct for a golden glow! Then with a Mac 252 brush I take a mixture of Peach Smoothie and Riff and buff them under my lash line, the same with Swiss Chocolate and I add Golden Peach with my finger. Then add your favourite lashes, mine are KoKo Lashes Misha. Then I go back to my skin, I start to highlight my undereyes with my Prep + Primer highlighter in Light Boost and UD Naked skin Concealer. (all of this is in my updated foundation routine and get the glow blogposts) then just add as much highlighter as you please! To make this more of night time smokey look I add Embark/Folie eyeshadows by mac to the outer corner with a Zoeva Petite Crease Brush until it's as dark as I want it to be. Then add them to my lower lash line and add a little bit of Costa Riche Kohl by Mac (I found this in the Soho store in London).

UPDATED FOUNDATION ROUTINE!

I've been getting the same questions asked now for a while. What do foundation are you wearing? What have you got on your skin? So I've decided to do an updated foundation routine as I pretty much don't use the items I talked about in my last foundation routine (I'll leave a link below if you'd like to see that also). Some things are the same but the main items have changed. Anything else that I use on my skin Highlighter, Blush items like that are in my Get The Glow blogpost (again I'll leave a link below).

My favourite primer is still Natural Radiance by mac, I have really oily skin and this primer really helps keep my oil at bay. Now for the best bit, foundation. My new FAVOURITE foundation is the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, I use it with a damp beauty blender and I LOVE it. It gives a beautiful full coverage finish but it feels so lightweight, I have a full first impressions/review blog post on the foundation so I'll link that below. Then I use a concealer the same colour as my foundation to conceal any redness and my under eyes. I've been liking the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer blended in with a damp beauty blender, it's not heavy or cakey it's creamy and comfortable. Once I've done my eyeshadow I use the mac Prep + Prime highlighter in Light Boost (Must Have!) under my eyes mixed with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in the lightest shade mixed together to highlight my under eyes, again I use a damp beauty blender. I've been switching between two bronzers recently, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer and the Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion like I said I've done a whole blogpost on my favourite blushes & highlighter in my Glow blogpost so that's all on there. My favourite bronzer brush is the mac 129. I've recently been setting my under eyes with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder I still like the old way I used to do it but it doesn't look as caked and I've been using the Real Techniques Setting Brush. And then lastly I shower myself in Fix + by mac.
I hope this answered some of your questions there's other blogposts on blushes and highlighters but these are the main products that I use everyday!

May/June Favorites

Hi my loves. I've started to do two months into one from now on because sometimes I don't gave that much to talk about. I've got alotttt of favourites from this past months.
First I'll talk about things that aren't on the picture. As you all know the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow was my ride or die brow product but at the start of may I found a product I love just as much, if not more. Mainly it's for the colour, the Anastasia one was looking abit to dark for me, and when I saw mac had brought out more colours of the Fluidline Brow cremes I got a little sample of the shade True Brunette and I love it! I've used it everyday since. Another product I've been liking is the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder in both 1 and 2 again I had samples of them. I really like them both I tend to mix them, it's not as brightening as my usual under the eye combo (mac Emphasize & Anastasia Banana) but I really like the finish of it. I have also found my new favourite lashes! The Koko Lashes in the style Misha. I LOVE these lashes! I only bought one pair and I had to buy them off the Lady Moss website because nowhere sells them in the UK. Next time I do an order it will include lots and lots of these lashes! Moving on to what is on the picture. As you can tell most of the stuff is face related. Recently I've been really into an amazing flawless glowy base. First I'll start with the skincare items. The first one is a repurchase of mine, the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. I used to use this years ago and I thought that I would give it a try again, I've been using this as my moisturiser but I put on my primer. I love the smell of it aswell! Next is the Sephora Instant Moisturizer. I use this one at night time, I love this. I got a sample of it when I was in Rome and I instantly loved it. It makes my skin super super soft and when I wake up my skin is glowing. A bronzer I've been loving this month is the Hourglass Ambiant Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light, I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do. I wasn't expecting it to bronze my face but it does and you only need a small amount! I looked back through all my favourites post and I can't believe this had never been mentioned, the Mary Loumanizer by theBalm. This is one of the most amazing highlighters I have ever tried. I've been using this product every time I've done my makeup for the past 3-4 months! Keeping on highlighters, I have been loving the Nars Dual Intensity Blushes in Jubilation & Frenzy. I bought these out of all the shades because they are more of a highlighter (minus the orange blush) I love these! I use them for different areas of my face, I speak about them in my last blog post about how to achieve the glowy skin I always have, I will leave a link at the end of the post if you want to read that. Last highlight product I have been loving is the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Starlight, this is such a gorgeous product for just putting over the top of your blush to make your skin look like you are glowing from with in. Last face product now, I've been enjoying the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I've been using this for under my eyes and any blemishes I've been getting, it gives a lovely finish. Moving on to eyes! I don't know if you can still get this palette but it's been a must have since I got it in May. It's the mac Pearlfusion palette from the Wash and Dry collection in Warm Wash. I loooove the gold from this palette, one which is very similar is the gold in the Copperlux Pearlfusion Palette if you can't get this one. The next is a single eyeshadow from Urban Decay in the shade Riff. It's so nice! It's very similar to Mac's Texture eyeshadow but spoken like a true makeup addict it's different! Last for eyes in the Goddess eyeshadow by Makeup Geek. It's a warm soft copper, it has a slight shimmer but nothing crazy. And my last favourite of the month is the mac lipstick in Pure Vanity. This is a limited edition shade but if you go into a mac shop they will probably still have it, i'm gunna get a back up I love it that much. Most of the pictures I have put on my Instagram I have been wearing this lipstick with Nice 'n' Spicy lipliner. I LOVE itttt!!
I hope you have enjoyed this post and you have found some products you want to try!

Get The Glow.

If you don't already know this about me, I LOVE to glow. I'm always buying highlighters, blush toppers anything that with make me GLOW! One of my most asked questions a day when i'm at work is what I use to make my skin look glowy/dewy (when my makeup has been in for a good few hours the oils help me out). My skin type is oily, well I say very oily and some people with oily skin don't like to glow but I love it! I do use mostly powders to achieve the look I love. I'm going to mention some of my favourite products and a few different options!
I do use a few different items and I layer them up, but there's no need for you to do that if you don't feel the need to. Start off with your favourite base, I love Natural Radiance Primer by mac and the Nars All Day Luminous Weighless foundation by Nars. (Would you like me to do an updated foundation routine?) once I've done everything I put my bronzer on. Now you can use a shimmery/glowy bronzer, I've just bought the new Hourglass on but I've only used it twice, I really want to try the one by theBalm. The one I have on in the picture is a Give Me Sun by mac. Now with blush, this is my first step.. You can either use a matte blush and add a blush topper or use a glowy blush alone (or still with a blush topper). Here are some of my

favourites! Starting with Blushes, I've really been liking my Miliani Baked Blushes, I've got the shades 05 Luminoso which is a beautiful peachy shade and 06 Bellissimo Bronze with is a shimmery bronze/peach. Then a MUST HAVE of mine Mac blush in Margin! Whenever I wear this I get compliments, I've not wore it in a while so I think it's time to break it out! Even when I wear a shimmery blush I do like to add a blush topper (not so much with Margin). I currently am swapping between Becca Blush in SweetPea (which isn't completely matte, more of a satin) and my two Milani blushes. Two of my faves which I bought last year are the Laura Mercier Shimmer Block in Peach Mosaic 😍 one if my top faves it is So beautiful! And my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Rose Gold! Again another amazing product! I used these both up to about last month when I purchased the a Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Starlight, this is beautifullll. It's what's on my cheeks in the top pic (mixed with something I'll tell you about later). Now all the ones I've told you about are priced £30-£35, the one with the clear lid is something everyone should own. It's the Makeup Academy undress your skin shimmer highlighter in Opalescent Amber, I got mine from Superdrug and it's £3! And it's really beautiful! To apply my blush toppers I use my blush brush which is the MAC 129SH brush. All of these products are amazing, the ones that are more pricey are worth it because one tap gives you all you need. Moving on to highlighter!

My number 1 favourite highlighter is theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer, it's a gorgeous champagne shimmering pot of perfection! And it's under £20! It is so pigmented you do not need much at all. My new favourite highlight brush is the mac 128, I've had this brush for years and never really used it much. Recently i'm spraying my face with my Mac Fix + then applying my cheekbone highlight it makes it soo intense which i'm lovinnnng. Then recently I've been using one of my newer purchases, the Nars Dual Intensity Blush in Jubilation! (I have just ordered Frenzy aswell). I've been using the peachy side mixed with the Kevyn Aucoin highlighter (on the 1st pic) it gives a gorgeous glow, then I've been using the gold side above the arch of my brows on my forehead to give a golden glow and a tiny bit over my Mary-Lou highlighter then I spray my face again with more Fix+! If your more into cream highlighters I have some options for yooou.. Mac Cream Colour Bases are lovely, on the pic I've shown Pearl (the more yellow/gold one) and Shell. Pearl is my personal favourite. Then a cheaper alternative, which I just recently bought is the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette, this palette is so beautiful it has 3 cream highlights then a bronze powder highlight. The creams are SO pigmented and they are gorgeous shades! I'd reccomend everything in this post, that's what it's all about! I'm constantly on the look out for new highlights and ways to glow, recently this is what I've been doing every time I do my makeup and I always get so many questions!
Hope you liked this post, let me know of any ideas. Don't forget to follow my Instagram @ellietaylorrxx for daily posts!

Lady Moss, MAC, Social Eyes and MORE makeup & lash haul!

Here I am again with another haul. I think this is the biggest I've done! I haven't bought this all at once I've been buying bits that past month and just saved them to show you!
There's so much! I'll start off with the Lady Moss order I did as I was so excited for this one to get deliverd. Lady Moss is an American website and I didn't know if I would have to lay customs or not but with this websit you do have to pay an extra fee when it gets to the UK. I wanted some of the Koko Lashes that's why I was on the website, I bought two pairs of Koko Lashes in Goddess & Misha. I wore the a Goddess ones last night I will link a picture at the end if you want to see them on. I also ordered two pairs of the Kara Lashes in the WSP style, I'd never heard of this brand and they were like $1.50! I love wispie lashes so I picked up two more of the Ardell Wispies a favourite of mine and I use them on most of my clients! I also got a little ribbon lash case to put my lashes in when I take them off (in the middle of the bottom right picture). Makeup wise I bought off Lady Moss was two LA Girl Pro Conceal HD concealer, I've heard so many good things about this concealer so I knew I had to buy some to try! It was less than $2!! Lastly I bought two Milani Blushes. I'd been wanted to try these for soooo long but I didn't know anywhere in the UK that sold them, I bought 05 Luminoso and 06 Bellissimo Bronze. These are soo beautiful, i'm really happy with everything I got off LadyMoss.com!
Let's move on to MAC.. Let's get the Brush Cleanser out of the way! I only use this to clean my brushes, it's my favourite! I repurchased two Prep + Prime Light Boost Highlighter pens, I use this product every single day I love it! I have to have a back up incase one runs out! I got another Extended Play Mascara, HG product of mine like Light Boost. I picked up two more of the 36 lashes, these are some of my favourites! Then I went to the Staff Shop (which is like a CCO) and I found two of the Lipglass from the Alluring Aquatic collection from last summer, a Pro Longwear Blush refil in Make You Mine and a Nail Varnish from the Bao Bao Wan Collection.
I got a Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray and the Makeup Forever Pro Bronze Fusion in 35I from Debenahms, a new Glam Glow Supermud. Then I repurchased something I used to use years ago! The Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, I love this I used it about 2 years ago and thought I'd try it again, it smells amazing!! Then com Boots I picked up the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer and the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting palette, it comes with 3 cream highlighters and one powder. I was SO shocked how good this palette is and it's only £9.99! Then fro, Superdrug I got the Makeup Academy Undress your skin Shimmer Highlighter in Opalescent Amber, this is so beautiful I use this as a blush topper. From FeelUnique I bought the TweezerMan Pro Curl lash curlers because they are rose gold, I've been waiting for the Charlotte Tilbury ones to come back Instock for to long! The Real Techniques setting brush and a Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush! Then from SpaceNK I bought the Cover FX Custom Cover drops, I may do a first impressions on these because they look amazing I can't wait to try them! And I bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light, I cannot wait to try this!!
From beautybay I bought a Z palette (not in the pic) the Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in Nude and the Velour Lashes in DollMeUp. Then today two of my orders came! One from LashesByLena, these are mink lashes I bought them when the Memorial Day sale was on which was 50% off! I got the styles Naomi and Sophia! Exited to use these (I didn't have to pay customs with these). Then lastly my order from Social Eyes, i'm SO impressed with these lashes they were cheap, shipping was so fast (they came from AUS) and they are amazing quality! I got the styles Vixen, Glamorous, Ravishing and Minx 2.0! Can't wait to use all this stuff and let you know what I think of it all! I have a post coming soon about
how I highlight and how to get the perfect glow! I get asked so many times what I use so I'll do a post of that! Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see!
