January Favourites!

As today is the last day of January here are the things I've been loving this month.
I didn't use much new makeup and everything I've used I've previously spoke about in other favourites.
Firstly this month I've been obsessed with my Kate Spade makeup bag. It's perfect. It's rose gold and Sparkley, it's so beautiful and matches my next favourite which is my Zoeva Rose Gold Complete eye set. This brushes are amazing and to to mention they are rose gold! Zoeva brushes are amazing quality and an amazing price. I love this set that much I would buy it again and have double of them.
Moving on.. This month MAC brought out two new items to the Prep + Prime family, and they are both amazing! There's Prep + Prime Blemish Control Gel, it's so good! Just pop it on your spot before you go to bed and when you wake up it's gone down. At work I get a lot of questions asked saying do you put it on before moisturiser/primer! And the answer is no, put it on when you've taken your makeup off like you would any spot treatment. They also brought out the Prep + Prime 24h a Eye Base, since I've got this I haven't stoppe using it. I can't even explain it. It's colourless and like a cream it feels like it smooths the eyelids when it's on. It's really good and it keeps my eye makeup on all day!
My next favourite are face products I've been loving. The Becca Mineral blush in Wild Honey, it's very close to the colour a bronzer would be, it's a tan colour and a very warm shade. I was also using it in my crease and it's a perfect warm transition shade. Next is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, i'm constantly changing my highlighters and this month this is the one I've been grabbing the most, it's a pale golden shade with a slight hint of silver, it's beautiful! Next eyes! I feel bad to mention this first one because it's been discontinued but I've used it so much in January! It's MAC Pink Bronze Pigment. I'd keep an eye out for limited edition collections because you never know mac could relaunch it! If they do I'd defiantly reccomend getting one, even I would get another! Then I've been obsessing over MAC Brown Script and Soft Brown eyeshadows. I've been using them every day! Again these are hard to get hold of, in America they sell them on the website and in store where as here in the UK you can't get them on the mac website or in every store! I got mine from the Soho Pro store in London so if you want these shades and are going to London I'd pop in one of the pro stores (Covent Garden or Soho) and grab them! My last favourites are my only two lip products are the MAC Viva Glam V lipglass, I love this gloss, the colour is a nude brown and I've been wearing over most lip combos or even with Stripdown lipliner! And all the money from this lipgloss goes to a good cause (100% of the selling price minus v.a.t goes towards the mac aids fund! this is the same if you buy any viva glam lipstick or gloss). Then I've also been loving the MAC Enchanted One lipstick. Again i'm sorry it was limited edition but it's almost identical to MAC Kinda Sexy! It's a beautiful peach/pink nude. Lastly is a perfume I've been loving, it's Elle Saab the original! I've just been loving it it's a very classy floral smell I would say. (Don't just take my word I'd go and smell it, I could be completely wrong)
I have a completely random favourite aswell this month and it's the app Dragon City. I can't stop playing it! I'm obsessed!

Glitter Cut Crease makeup look

On Sunday for work I created a glittery smokey cut crease look and I got a lot of questions about it so I thought i would do a post on it. I'll try my best to explain!

On this look I started with my face, sometimes I start with my eyes to make sure nothing would fall on to my face but on this look It didn't matter which way.
I started off with my Mac Natural Radience Primer, I used my normal foundations, Mac Studi Fix Fluid and Nars Sheer Glow, I just buff them into my skin with a buffer brush. Then to conceal my under eyes in use Mac Prolong Wear Concealer with my finger and just blend it in. Then I go on to my brows, I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate and use the Prolongwear underneath to carve them out and to higlight the brow bone. Next I moved on my my eyes, with a cut crease you want to keep everything above the crease and keep the lid clean. I started with The Mac 24 hour eye base and then with Soft Brown by Mac as my transition colour with a Zoeva 221 brush, it's a soft fluffy blending brush. Then with a Mac 217 I used the Charlotte Tilbuty Dolce Vita Palette and i took the warm red brown and used it to deepen the crease. The to create the sharpe 'cut crease' I used a mac 266 brush, which is an angled brush, I took Embark by Mac and traced my crease and blended it up a little then I went back in with Embark to make the line stronger but still blended. Once I'd got the depth I wanted I went it with the sparkely shade from the Charlotte Tilbury palette with a Mac 242 shader and packed it on, it didn't come as Sparkley as I wanted so I put Mac Reflects Bronze over the top. I used Soft Brown and Brown Script eyeshadows under my eyes aswell and I used Mac 36 lashes. After eyes I carried on with my face, to highlight my undereyes I used Mac Prep + Prime Highlight pen in Light Boost and I use this with a BeautyBlender, this is how I create the sharpe line at the edge of my eyeshadow. Then I use my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Give Me Sun to bronze my temples and cheekbones. To set my undereyes I used Mac Shaping Powder in Emphasize and Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana Powder with a mac 132 brush. I used Becca blush in Sweetpea and highlighted with theBalm MaryLoumanizer. On my lips I have Mac Stripdown Lipliner with Sweer & Sour lipstick and Viva Glam V gloss!
Hoped this helped anyone who wanted to know how to recreate this look!

Zoeva Rose Gold Complete Eye Set

I've had my eyes on Zoeva's Rose Gold brush sets for a while. I'm obsessed with Rose Gold and makeup brushes. I love Zoeva brushes, they are such good quality and a great affordable price. I was going to buy some more of their eyeshadow brushes and I thought I would but the bullet and buy this set. It's £56 for 12 brushes, which at first I thought was a lot of money but when I worked it out individually the brushes work out to be around £78! So it's amazing value for money.
Rose Gold Complete Eye Set
The brushes come in a small brown brush clutch, and the brushes include: 142 Concealer Buffer, 224 Luxe Defined Crease, 226 Smudger, 227 Luxe Soft Definer, 228 Luxe Crease, 230 Luxe Pencil, 231 Luxe Petit Crease, 234 Luxe Smoky Shader, 237 Detail Shader, 315 Fine Liner, 317 Wing Liner and the 322 Brow Line.
These brushes easily compare to MAC. There so soft and not to mention how amazing the brushes look in Rose Gold! Some of these brushes are easy dupes for some of macs, the 227 looks so similar to the Mac 217 and the 228 is similar to macs 224 which is one of my favourite brushes but sometimes I find it a little scratchy, and I always say I wish we did a 224 which is the softness of the 217 and the 228 Luxe Crease is exactly that. I already own some Zoeva brushes and they are so amazing and i'm so happy to be adding these into my collection!
I bought my set yesterday (19th Jan) from www.love-makeup.co.uk and they came today! Very quick delivery and I was so excited to get them!
I really reccomend these brushes. My favourites are the 227,228 and the 234. I've not tried them all yet but I've excited to play around with them, some of these brushes are so different to some of the brushes I already own. There very good quality brushes and I've you've been thinking about trying Zoeva I would give them ago!

HUGE makeup haul!

I've just recently got back from London and I bought a lot of makeup so I thought I'd share it will you all. I also have a little haul from when it was my birthday I did I little but of shopping so there's a lot of makeup to get through so let's get to it!

So first what I got in London. I went to MAC (twice), Burberry, Chanel, Pixi, Liberty & Makeup Store! First I went to the MAC Pro store in Covent Garden..
From there I bought, a Prep + Prime Fix+, Prep + Prime Natural Radience Primer, Prep + Prime highlighter pen in Light Boost (I got 2 of these), Shaping Powder in Emphasize, two 36 Lashes and Duo glueBlonde's Gold pigment and Reflects Copper and Reflects Bronze glitters. Most of the products I was repurchasing but the glitters and pigments I just bought because I love them!
After MAC I went to Burberry. I absolutely lovd the Burberry Boutique in Covent Garden it's so lovely. I bought the Lip Cover in No.24 Romantic Rose, it's a pinky peach shade and it has quite a sheen to it. I also got given two samples. A mini bottle of the My Burberry perfume and a 5ml sample of the Fresh Glow luminous fluid base in the shade Nude Radiance (No.1) i'm excited to try that out!  After a Burberry I went into the Chanel Boutique and I got the Lipgloss in Sweet Beige (297) and the Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Interlude (78).
Pigment in Blonde's Gold and Glitters in Reflects Bronze,
Reflects Copper, Reflects Blackened Red and
Reflects Antique Gold.
That was all I got from Covent Garden. Then yesterday we had some time to kill so I wanted to shopping in Soho, so again I went in the MAC Pro Store.. I got the Glitters in Reflects Blackend Red and Reflects Antique Gold. Then I saw they had the eyeshadows which can only be bought in the US (or so I thought) so I had to get them! I got Bamboo, Soft Brown and a Brown Script eyeshadows and the Kohl liner in Costa Riche! I was so excited that I finally had my hands on them!

After mac I went in the Pixi store to get some Glow Tonic I've heard good things so I thought I'd give it a try. Then from Makeup Store I got the Glitter in Scorpio and Lastley I went in to Liberty of London and got the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

Before I went to London it was my Birthday and I had a mini shopping trip and I got Becca blush is Wild Honey and Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk.
After all this new makeup I needed a makeup bag and I found one in Kate Spade (I got this in London) it's a beautiful rose gold glittery makeup bag! I'd seen this in someone's YouTube and when I saw it I fell in love! Then I stumbled across the Kate Spade shop and went straight in and looked for it and it was on sale! So I got it for a little cheaper than it should of been! I'm so happy with it and it's very me!

A week before I went to London I also bought a YSL purse aswell and it was in the sale! I wanted it full price but I was lucky enough to get it in the sale!
