F E B U A R Y F A V O U R I T E S.

Welcome to my first favourites of the year!
This is kind of a January/February favourites mix. I have been loving so many products this month!
Recently I've been loving the EX1 Invisiwear foundation which I spoke about in my favourite foundations blog post (click here to read) but i was wanting to try the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, I managed to get it and I LOVE it. It lasts all day on my face and it looks beautiful, it's got a really nice coverage, the colour I got is a little bit too dark for me, so when I go to New York next week a lighter colour is deffo on my list!
Mac brought out a collection in January and there was a lipstick in it called A Sprinkle Of Magic, it is aaaaamaaazing. I love it. When I first saw this colour it didn't stand out but when it's on it's so fab! I've been loving it, it makes my lips look so plump! Sticking to lips I've been loving the MAC x Ariana Grande VIVA GLAM lipglass. I don't know what it is about this gloss but it's the best gloss I've used! It's amazing! I need to stock up because it's sold out in my store, it's a must have for my makeup bag! I've also been loving the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams! My fave is Athens!

I obviously have some makeup geek eyeshadows to mention! Bitten, Cocoa Bear, Americano & Bada Bing have been my GO TO shades all month, I couldn't stop using them! Mixed with my next favourite Melba blush by mac cosmetics, but not on my cheeks, in my crease! I've been starting with Melba blush, then adding a little bit of Cocoa Bear, Bitten then Bada Bing or Americano! And wearing on the lid my next favourite Peaches and Cream pigment in Peached. It's a beautiful shimmering peachy/tan colour. I can't describe it! I find the peaches pigments work amazingly with the peaches eyeshadow primer which I have been loving this month, with every shimmer eyeshadow (which is every day!) most of my favourites are eye products! My favourite inner corner and brow highlight is Nylon eyeshadow by MAC!  Another fave is the Urban Decay Glitter liner in Midnight Cowboy. I've been using this as a liner and as a all over the lid colour. And my absolute favourite lashes I think of all time are the Lilly Lashes in the style Miami! Another favourite for me and anybody who loves sparkle are these amazing brushes my friend makes, you give her your brush and she hand glues Swarovski crystals of them! Her Instagram is @Crystalfixdesigns go and check out her page! She does different coloured crystals but the rainbow is my personal favourite. I wish they were as sparkly in the pictures they are unreal in real life!

My go to palette.

This palette is the palette I use every single day. It has all of my go to eyeshadows in. It's a mixture of MAC eyeshadows and Makeup Geek eyeshadows. My favourite eyeshadows to use are warm tones. There's nothing better than a warm brown copper/gold smokey eye in my books! Don't get me wrong I love using colours but my comfort zone is in this palette. I store them in a large Z palette.
On the top row we have:
Brule (mac)- it's described on the website as a soft creamy beige with a satin finish. I love using this on my lids if i'm going to do an all matte smokey eye.
Nylon (mac)- a pale gold with Icey shimmer. With a Frost finish. This is one of my favourite inner corner and bore bone highlights.
Magic Act (makeupgeek)- Light gold with yellow undertones and a foiled finish. I love using this on my lids and it's a pretty inner corner highlight.
Peach Smoothie (makeupgeek)- A light peach beige with a soft matte finish. This is one of my must haves. This is my second one and I've already got a dint in it. I wear this everyday with every makeup look. It's my perfect crease colour.
Samoa Silk (mac)- this eyeshadow was discontinued. Sowweeee. It's really similar to makeup geek peach smoothie and ABH Orange Soda.
Creme Brule (makeupgeek)- A medium sand color with a soft matte finish. This is a shade or two darker than peach smoothie I would say. I love this one in my crease.
Soft Brown (mac)- it's a soft golden peachy brown with a matte finish. I haven't used this one for a while but it's a really nice transition colour!
On the next row we have:
Texture (mac)- described as a peachy brown with shimmer. With a Velvet finish. When you look at this colour you will see a slight shimmer to it but it doesn't show up on the eyes. This is a must have in mac eyeshadows. It's the perfect warm transition colour.
Frappe (makeupgeek)- medium maple brown matte. This is very similar to mac texture but it's different. Spoken like a true makeup addict. I love this colour in the crease also. Peach smoothie, Creme Brule and then frappe are the same colour family I would say.
Latte (makeupgeek)- described as a matte medium brown. This is similar to Frappe but I would say that this shade is a lot more neutral/slight hint of cooler tones.
Amber Lights (mac)- on the website this shade is described as a peachy brown with shimmer with a frost finish. It's a gold with a hint of bronze/copper with a HIGH sheen. It's very metallic and very intense. I love this all over the lid, in a smokey eye, it's amazing however you use it.
Grandstand (makeupgeek)- described as a medium rose gold with slight taupe undertones with a foiled finish. This eyeshadow is amazing. It's the most perfect rose gold shade it's so metallic and amazing! I love this colour in a warm brown smokey eye, or if you use it with more berry tones it's incredible!
Goddess (makeupgeek)- a metallic pale copper is how it's described. It's a beautiful soft slightly shimmery bronze/copper. I love using this if i'm doing a spotlight eye, I use this them a darker shade for a nice blend. It's probably the least pigmented makeup geek shadow in this palette.
Roulette (makeupgeek)- it's described as a rosy burnt sienna with a shimmery finish. It's the most amazing coppery bronze eyeshadow. It's so pigmented. It's amazing. So beautiful.
Moving on to the next row:
Chickadee (makeupgeek)-  it's described as a matte yellow orange. This colour is so different from anything I've ever seen/used. It's beautiful to blend out in the crease. It adds a beautiful warth to the look.
Rule (mac)- this shade is described as a vivid orange and that's exactly what it is. It has a matte finish and like chickadee it's amazing in the crease or to blend out browns.
Red Brick (mac)- is described as an orange red with a matte red. This eyeshadow is more red than orange but there is a lot of orange to the colour also. It's beautiful for the same reasons the last two eyeshadows.
Coppering (mac)- it's described on the website as an orange copper but I think this shade is more red than anything. I love this shade it's so beautiful. It's amazing mixed with Amber lights also.
Cocoa Bear (makeupgeek)- described as a matte reddish brown. This eyeshadow is the most amazing matte reddy/brown/sienna colour ever. It's super pigmented. I use this nearly everyday.
Bitten (makeupgeek)- matte deep maroon red. This is me in a eyeshadow currently. I've been wearing it everyday pretty much since I got this eyeshadow. It's so pigmented. I also love Cherry Cola but it's almost identical to bitten but it's a lot darker. They picture the same so it seemed pointless
Brown Script (mac)- it's a warm chestnut brown with a matte finish. It's a beautiful colour. If you love warm shades this one you will love.
Now for the last row:
Bronze (mac)- a frost finish eyeshadow. Gold brown with gold bronze shimmer. As it says in the name, this eyeshadow is the definition of bronze. I've not used this for a while buts it's gorgeous all over the lid blended out with warm colours.
Swiss Chocolate (mac)- it's described as a muted reddish brown with a matte finish. This is a soft warm brown. I love to use this on the outer v first before applying a darker brown.
Folie (mac)- this shade is described as a reddish plum brown. This eyeshadow has lots of red to it. It's one of my favourites, it's literally a step upward on the colour scale from Swiss chocolate.
Embark (mac)- an intense reddish brown with a matte finish. The last two shades I've mentioned are so similar but so different. I'm glad I have them all. This is amazing to add lots of depth to the outer corner.
Americano (makeupgeek)- this eyeshadow is described as a dark brown with subtle purple undertones and a matte finish. I would say it's a very warm brown. It's also very dark. This is one of my favourite brown shades. I love this for the same reason as embark. This is a more pigmented version.
Bada Bing (makeupgeek)- this shade is a deep brown with flecks of gold. Once applied on the eyes I would say the gold does not show up at all. It's the deepest brown and it's amazing!
Antiqued (mac)- this shade is a beautiful shimmery warm brown with lots of red undertones. It's beautiful. It's amazing buffed under the lower lash liner over teddy liner also my mac.

That's all the shadows in my go to palette. I use these colour everyday, I would reccomend any of these shades. I will leave a link with my makeup geek eyeshadow collection and top 10 incase you wanted to see more makeup geek eyeshadows. You can purchase them from BeautyBay.com.
Hope you liked this post!
