My most used lip products.

1. This has to be Nice n Spicy lipliner by Mac Cosmetics. I have around 8 of these! I go through them like they are going out of stock. I use this lipliner with most lipsticks, it goes with all of my faves. It's from the Prolongwear family so it stays put for hours!

2. This one was between two lipsticks of mine (the other will be no 3.) and it's Myth Lipstick again by Mac cosmetics. This is my go to lippy. It's always in my bag because it goes with most of my makeup looks so when I need a nude lipstick this is the one I reach for the most. (Myth lipstick and Nice n Spicy lipliner is one of my fave combos).

3. This has to be my other most used lipstick and this is Sweet & Sour lipstick by Mac Cosmetics. Even though some people would think this as a summery lipstick it's another I will always have in my bag. I love it all year round it's my perfect Peach Nude. (Again with Nice n Spicy lipliner, another favourite combination).

4. Next is the NYX Soft Matte Lip creme in Cairo. It's super similar to Myth (but completely different haha) another product that I keep in my bag for when I need a nude lippy.

5. Another item I keep in my bag because it's super easy to apply it's the Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Its Really Me from Mac Cosmetics. These are a glossy lipstick in a cubby pencil form and this colour is a beautiful nude. They are moisturising and quick to put on without needing a mirror for help.

6. A gloss which I love is the NYX Butter Gloss in Fortune Cookie. This is myth in a lipgloss. And I love a glossy lip, I'm not much of a matte girl unless I'm wearing a bright colour (which is rare). These glosses are amazing, super creamy and pigmented.

7. Another one of my favourite lipsticks in Shy Girl from Mac Cosmetics. Again it's another nude peach and it also looks fab with the Nice n Spicy lipliner! Its a no fuss lipstick and it's a really popular shade.

8. I don't really like matte lipsticks but I love the colour of Honeylove Lipstick from Mac. It's a little bit of a darker nude so it's a nice one for fall/winter. Another favourite Fall lipstick of mine is Mocha again from Mac.

9. A creamy nude lipstick I love is Nude Kate from Charlotte Tilbury. If you don't like a super nude lip (like Myth from mac) this is one you will love. It's not too nude it has a little but more colour. I really like this shade. I also really like the Kim K W lipstick from Charlotte but i'm not sure if it's limited edition or not it's more pink than Nude Kate.

I could really go on and on when it comes to my favourite lip products so I've had to stop myself. I always have more than 2 of these products in my bag at all times.
Hope you liked this.

My first CHANEL bag + PARIS TRIP

Hello loves, So on Friday (3rd June) I went back to my favourite place in the world, PARIS. I wanted to go and buy a Chanel bag. This bag I saw in a magazine when I was 11 years old and I knew I wanted it. I started saving around last September and I wanted to save up as much as possible so I could buy whatever I wanted to in Paris. (If anyone wants a post on how I save leave a comment here or on my Instagram). All of my favourite designers are French so it would be the perfect place to go shopping.
On the Friday we went to find Av. Montaigne, where all the fabulous designer boutiques are.

This street is so beautiful and all of the stores looked amazing. We only went to find the Chanel boutique so we knew where to go on the Saturday. We were stood outside looking at all the new window display of the 'Paris in Rome' collection and my mum and auntie said just go in and buy it now! I was so unprepared because I was planning on doing it the day after! I had a whole outfit planned. My heart was pounding and I was really nervous! Anyway we went in and the store was so busy we had around a 10 minuet wait before we were served which I didn't mind. I already knew the bag I wanted, the leather and the hard wear I was just
unsure on the size. So I looked at the Jumbo classic flap and the Maxi classic flap. The minuet I tried the Maxi on I knew that this was the size I wanted. I'd already been and seen the Jumbo in the store in manchester, the woman who served me in there was so lovely and she told me so much about the bag, but when I first saw the jumbo and tried it on my heart didn't skip, I knew I would know when I saw them side by side in Paris. I decided on the Classic Flap Maxi in Caviar leather and gold hard wear. We were probably in the store around half an hour and most of the time we were waiting to be served or waiting to pay. It was a really emotional moment for all of us, my mum and auntie cried because I saved up and bought a bag I've been wanting for 10 years in my favourite place in the world. I was so happy I could've burst with excitement. We took it back to the hotel and went on with our
day. I couldn't wait to get it out and look at it (obviously each stage had a photoshoot). The day after I wanted to go back to Av Montaigne to see the rest of the street and the stores, we went into Celine. I'd seem some sunglasses I wanted but I also wanted the Nano Luggage cross body which I LOVED but I didn't have wifi so I couldn't check how much money I had left in my account so I settled for the sunglasses, which i'm so happy I got because I love them! I went for the Wayfarer-style in tortoiseshell/Havana. There were so many beautiful things in the Celine boutique and I know I didn't buy the Nano luggage this time but it's now 100% on my list. It wasn't that sunny but I wanted to wear the sunglasses! We continued on with our day walking from the Eiffel tower all the way to Notre Dame. The building in Paris are just so incredibly beautiful, I never get bored of looking at them. I still had money left and it was burning a hole in my purse! I'd wanted a Hermès Clic H bracelet for a while but I had talked myself out if buying one a few times  as they are very expensive,
so I thought I'd leave it until we got into the airport as I knew there was a Hermès store in there. I wanted White & Gold, the store I was in only had the White & Rose Gold which I did want to look at but I didn't think the store would have, I tried it on and then I purchased it. I knew if I didn't buy it there I wouldn't of bought one. I just wish I could if seen the white and gold also, so when I got home I rang the Hermès in manchester and they said I could exchange it, the service was amazing. I absolutely love the White & Gold it's just more me. We had such a lovely time in Paris and we are planning on going again next year, unfortunately for us we did have a bad experience in the airport but none of us have experienced what happened before and hopefully it won't happen again. Our hotel was in an amazing location, we stayed in the Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel. The minuet you walk out of the hotel the Eiffel Tower is right there and it take under 2 minuets to get to the tower! We've been before so we kinda knew where we were going but we got a map and off we went. I did go into sephora but I only purchased two Marc Jacobs Remarcable foundations. If you have never been to Paris before I highly recommend going. We went of Friday and came home on Monday, the flight is around an hour long which is nothing! I will say, we expected buying my handbag to work out cheaper but I did end up paying more than the price in pounds (£) same with my Bracelet, I did save £20 on my sunglasses, but I don't mind because I got to purchase them in my favourite city! The food was good, one morning we had our breakfast in a restaurant right next to the Givenchy Fashion House!! It was amazing. See you again Pari X

LUST LIST.

We all have a lust list. A list full of things we want, things we are lusting over. For some it will be clothes for me it's handbags, designer handbags. I've always liked expensive things. I don't know where it came from because no one in my family is really willing to spend an entire wage on a handbag. My first Designer bag purchase was the GIVENCHY Antigona, I have a blog post on that bag, Click Here to read that post.

I used to go to my aunties house and she would have these fancy magazines and I would read Vouge & Elle and see all these amazing items. When I was 11 I saw THE bag. My favourite, even at that age.. CHANEL. I saw the Classic flap bag in one of those magazines and I wanted it, and here we are 10 years later and I'm going to Paris next month to buy it! I've always told myself, even as that little girl, seeing all my favourite celebs wearing the items I could only dreaaaaam about, if I want nice things I need to work hard to get them. And that is what I do. So once I've purchased my Chanel bag I will need another item to focus towards, this is where my LUST LIST comes into things. These are the items I have on my wish list.
Starting with neutrals. I'm very much a black bag lover but when I was finding the images I was finding more neutrals that I loved!
First I am obsessing over the BALENCIAGA Mini Papier A4 Zip Around Suede Shoulder Bag. I am so in love with this colour, it's so beautiful. I've been seeing this bag in all kinds of colours and I love this blush shade! It's so perfect for spring/summer. I deffo have my eyes on this bag.
Next is the new classic, the CHANEL Boy. I originally would of wanted this bag in black but i'm buying the classic flap in black. This nude colour is beautiful, i'm missing this colour bag in my collection.
Next up is the CELINE 'Mini' Luggage, I've loved this bag for so long, another one I wanted in black. I saw Kourtney Kardashian with this bag and I knew I loved the style and I love the Sand shade. Then the beautiful VALENTINO Rock Studs, I love all the styles of these shoes I think they look so beautiful and classy! I love the gold studs and the nude together. I think I'd want the flats and the sandals!
Now onto the darker colours!

First this is probably the bag I want the most at the minuet, (after I've got my classic flap) this is the LOUIS VUITTON  Vivviene bag, I cannot find this anywhere, I pray they still have this bag as i'm dreaming of it! I just love the black & gold. I really really want this bag!!!
Next is the CELINE Nano Luggage in black, i'm loving cross body bags at the minuet. I love any kind of bag, but at the minuet i'm loving this style.
Then a more classic LOUIS VUITTON, the Pochette Métis. Another cross body, I'd not really seen this bag until I saw a customer with it and it looked
amazing, I really like the
classic monogram print with the  gold hard wear. I really like this bag!
Lastly is the SAINT LAURENT Sac De Jour. I love this bag in all the sizes but I really love the grey. I like how it comes with a longer strap even though it's a bigger bag.
These are all expensive bags and I am not saying i'm getting all of these bags, this are just my lust list. All these images are from Pinterest. I've been so so so obsessed with making wish lists on there, I have a bag, a shoe and a sunglasses wish list!
I love designer items, I would never buy them if I couldn't live my life also, I save up for months to treat myself to the items I love. I was a huge shopaholic, I would buy anything and everything and in the past year I changed my ways, I still treat myself every month but I save a lot of my money to buy the main items. If any of you are interested in a how to save for a bag post let me know!

NYC HAUL + extra buys.

Hi guys! So if you didn't already know last month I went to NEW YORK, and I mainly went to New York to shop! It's safe to say I shopped but I could of done a lot more, hence why when I go home I bought more.

NYC HAUL
So i'm gunna start with the items I bought for face.
I purchased two foundations, first I got the MAKE UP FOREVER Ultra HD foundation stick in 118 which I haven't really used properly so I don't know what I think of it yet, the I also purchased the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation. I really like this foundation. I was supposed to purchase more but I forgot to! And this particular foundation isn't sold in the UK! I also got the Beauty Blender Nude which I actually prefer more than the other ones it feels more squishy which I like! Next I purchased the Sephora Luminizing Drops in Morning light. I really like these, I've been using these under my powder highlighters and it makes me glow glow glow! Let's move on to highlight I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in 'That Glow' in Macys and I regretted not getting the 'Gleam' kit so when I got home I ordered that one off cult beauty. I really love these, I prefer the more golden one (that glow). The. I also got the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour kit. I found the brand Girlactik I picked up there face glow in lustre. Moving onto eyes! I purchased the Sephora Z palette, I got this because I was planning on purchasing lots of Anastasia eyeshadows but they only had one of the shadows on my list in stock so I got the eyeshadow in Hot Chocolate. I got the Tarte Tartelette in Bloom palette, this palette is so pretty and it smells so good! I also bought some items from inglot. We don't have an inglot near me so I was excited to get some more pigments (I got some in Prague last year) I got the Duraline, Body Sparkles in 86, AMC Pure Colour Pigments 117, 119, 120, 56. I'm so obsessed with these pigments I bought more which I will talk about later on in the post! I bought the Anastasia  brow gel in Auburn. I also purchased some Ardell Wispie lashes. Lastly lips, I purchased the Viva Glam Ariana Gloss, this is my favourite lipgloss. I have no
Inglot purchases!
idea why but I just love it! I bought two Girlactik glosses in Flirty & Nude, the Tarte Tarteist lip paint in Namaste which I love! They are so creamy. A buxom nude lipstick & gloss duo, two Wet & Wild lipsticks which are both nudes (I can't remember the names. If you really want to know leave a comment) I also got a nude NYX lipliner! There are a few items on the picture which are Sephora Point Perks and my birthday present! I love everything I purchased from New York and I had so much fun shopping.

Now for the 'Extra items' I bought, they are all inglot. I loved the things I already owned I bought more!
The pigments are my favourite things! They are so beautiful and they have so many colours to choose from! I purchased the shades (top row L-R) 45, 118, 115. (Bottom row L-R) 111, 114, 113. I've been obsessed with colour in my makeup recently that's why I bought more colourful ones (If you want to see a whole blogpost on the inglot pigments I have including swatches comment down below or on my Instagram!) I also purchased the eyeshadows (Left side top to bottom) 327 which is a deep brown, 325 a rich purple & 332 an amazing blue, (right side top to bottom) 335 a beautiful terracotta, 55 a warm reddy brown and 450 a pretty Berry/Burgundy shade! All the inglot eyeshadows are SO pigmented, everything I've tried from inglot has been amazing!

What I'm loving - COLOURED LINER.

Recently I've been LOVING using colours. Not just my standard brown smokey eyes. I started by adding berry tones into my eye makeup and now I'm loving all kinds of colours. But this post is all about coloured liner. I've been OBSESSING over @tominamakeup on Instagram, she does the most amazing makeup and she uses a lot of colour. I noticed she would do a smokey eye using a colour and she adds a completely different colour liner in the water line, not just your regular black or brown and it looks so good, so I decided to give it a go myself.
I already had a few 'coloured' liner pencils, I say it like that because the colours I have are Bronzes & Golds which aren't really colourful. I knew I loved the NYX Slide on Liner pencils as I have one in a beautiful copper and they last all day on the waterline, so I decided to get all the colourful ones, yes all of them! They come in 16 shades and I have 11 of them, they are super creamy and pigmented. The shades range from blacks and browns to electric blue and vibrant green! I also really love the Sephora Waterproof pencil liners they are the same consistency. In the pictures from L-R there is Platinum, Glitzy Gold, Golden Bronze, Jewel, Purple Blaze, Pretty Violet, Sunrise Blue, Azure, Esmeralda, Tropical Green & Golden Olive. I love switching up my eye looks now by adding a pop of colour in to the water line. I recently did a Purple/Blueish smokey eye and in my waterline I used Sunrise Blue and it really made the look. I cant wait to use the bright green. I love using the gold liner in my regular brown bronze smokey eyes, i'm really loving using colours at the minuet and I can't wait to use all the other amazing colours. The MAC Pearlglide Intense liners are also really nice they do have glitter in them and the aren't 'recommended' in the waterline but I've wore

them and they have been fine. You could also use the coloured liners as an eyeshadow base because they are creamy. It's a nice way to add a bit of colour into your makeup. If your more of a neutral person you could do your smokey eye and a gold into the water line or add a blue for a pop of colour and it looks amazing.

Here are some of the looks I've created with coloured liners. For the top picture I used the NYX liner in Purple Blaze, I wanted to use the purple with really warm colours so I used an orange eyeshadow from Inglot and a deep orange and berry shadows for a contrast. The purple makes this look different and people are always shocked that they can actually wear a colour liner instead of black or brown. In the bottom pictures I have Sunrise Blue NYX liner and this is one of my favourites. The pigment I am wearing is the Inglot 120 and I knew I wanted to use the purple and blue shadows and add the blue liner, because I'm wearing similar colours, it doesn't look so drastic. I can't wait to use the bright green liner in a look. I've really been loving using colours, I'm actually going to my colour Z Palette full of makeup geek eyeshadows and most of my Inglot pigments are colours. Ive been so inspired by @tominamakeup on Instagram you need go go and check her page out, you will 100% feel more inspired to use colours. I've just purchased two Zoeva liners in a purple and a red and the Makeup Geek liner in Mint. I can't wait to play and create more looks, keep an eye out on my Instagram @ellietaylorrxx to see more colourful makeup looks.
The lashes I'm wearing in the pictures are the Peekaboo Lashes in the style COVERGIRL (the top picture) and WHIP LASH (the bottom picture). Peekaboo have been kind enough to give you lovely people a 15% off code. Use the code 'ellietaylor15'. These lashes have quickly become my favourites!

MARCH FAVOURITES.

Hi my loves, i'm back with another monthly favourites! I've purchased a lot of new makeup recently (my next bold post will be my NY haul and makeup I've bought since I've been home) and I've found some new faves. I've not got that many new favourites but I wanted to have a post up for you guys.

Firstly, recently I've been obsessed with colour. I've been being a little bit more adventurous with my makeup and using lots of colours. I'm going to start with lashes today! I've been trying out some new lashes that have hit the market recently and it's safe to say i'm obsessed! They are the new Peekaboo Lashes! They have brought 3 styles out and they are all fab but I've been switching between COVERGIRL, which look exactly like Lilly lashes in Miami (which are a fave of mine but so expensive) and WHIP LASH. These are 3D mink lashes. And Peekaboo have been kind enough to give you guys a discount code if you want to get yourself some! If you use the code 'ellietaylor15'
you will get 15% off your purchase! I will leave the link to the website below. Keeping with the eye theme I've been SO obsessed with Inglot pigments. I first got some inglot items
back in October and in New York they had a shop so obviously I had to go in and I even bought more off the website once I got home. They are fab! They do them in so many different colours it's so overwhelming so I just found out which were the newest and luckly they had some amazing shades that had just come out! I got mostly colours, Green,
PEEKABOO LASHES.
Aqua, Blue, Pink, Purple and a few neutral shades but they are literally all my favourites (I will leave links down below to some looks I've done using the pigments) I have been applying the inglot pigments with the inglot duraline which to be honest I don't really know exactly what it does but I do like applying the pigments with it. I have been loving the NYX Slide on Liners, they have them in the most amazing colours and they do not budge, I wore one on my waterline for over 12 hours the other day and didn't top it up once! I also have Ben loving Sketch eyeshadow by Mac Cosmetics, I've had it for years and only just started to use it and I really love it. A random fave for this month is the Nude Beauty Blender, I feel
like it's a little more squishy that the others which I really like. I've also been loving the
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in That Glow. I love all the shades in the palette I can use them all in one makeup look.
I will have a haul up for you next so keep your eyes peeled for that, there's lots of exciting items I purchased. Don't forget to follow my Instagram @ellietaylorrxx

MANNY MUA X MAKEUP GEEK PALETTE.

Hello loves!
So last week the Manny MUA x Makeup Geek eyeshadow palette launched on Makeup Geek and on Beauty Bay. Because I live in the uk I thought I'd get it off Beauty Bay, now let me tell you I spent ALL day refreshing the page trying to get one of these! I finally managed to get one aswell as a headache as I was on my phone all day refreshing it!
At first I wasn't going to get this palette but i'm SO glad it did. The shadows are just as amazing as always. Makeup Geek is 100% my favourite eyeshadow brand, I reccomend them to everyone. If you haven't tried any yet a suggest you get a few and try them out (CLICK HERE to read my makeup geek eyeshadow collection and my top 10. I have gotten more eyeshadows since then but my favourites remain the same).
So let's get into manny's palette.
It has 9 shades, 3 which are permanent makeup geek shades and 1 pressed pigment that is a permanent item in a loose form, then 5 colours which manny created.
The first row..
ARTEMIS - this is one of the shades manny created. It's described as a muted champagne yellow with a shimmery finish, this shadow is very similar to Nylon by mac. I've been using this to highlight my inner corner, my brow bone and I've also used it as a cheek highlight.
BEACHES & CREAM - this is one of makeup geeks permanent shades, manny uses this shadow in nearly every makeup look he does so he said he had to include it in the palette, it's a very pigmented shade! It's described as a soft peachy beige with a matte finish. This is a nice colour to start your looks off with by popping it into the crease.
LUNA - this is a shade manny created for the palette, it's a beautiful shade. I like to use this as my lid colour this is described as a medium rose gold with a foiled finish. Manny said he wanted a shade in between In the Spotlight & Grandstand which are permanent makeup geek foiled eyeshadows.
The middle row. COSMOPOLITAN - this is a permanent makeup geek shadow, I was happy this shade was in the palette because I don't own this on, it's described as a gold-flecked medium rose with a shimmery finish.
SORA - this is another shade manny created for the palette, it's a gorgeous burnt orange shade, my favourite shades for my crease! This shade is described as a medium earthy terracotta with a matte finish.
FRAPPE - another permanent makeup geek shade, this is another great crease colour, it's described as a medium maple brown with a matte finish.
Now for the last row. INSOMNIA - this shade is a permanent loose pigment makeup geek sell, for the palette they made it pressed. This colour is so beautiful, it's similar to mac blue brown pigment but it has more blue to it. It's described as a warm red brown with blue reflects and a foiled finish.
MARS - this is the reason I bought this palette. This shade manny created for the palette. It's a very very pigmented Cherry red shade. On the skin it does look more raspberry/pinky but the more you put on the redder it gets. It's beautiful, it's described as a deep cherry red with a matte finish.
APHRODITE - this is the last shade in the palette, manny creates this shade also. It's described as a deep plum brown with a matte finish. It's very pigmented and super dark. It finishes the palette off nicely.
Overall this is a really nice palette. I go to New York next week and I think this might be the only palette I bring along with me. It's pigmented and all of it's colours work with one another! I've only created a few looks with it but I can't wait to try more!

So there are the swatches. Keep your eyes on the makeup geek and beauty bay for this palette. It's a really good palette to have. Congrats to Manny on this palette! I'm obsessed!

F E B U A R Y F A V O U R I T E S.

Welcome to my first favourites of the year!
This is kind of a January/February favourites mix. I have been loving so many products this month!
Recently I've been loving the EX1 Invisiwear foundation which I spoke about in my favourite foundations blog post (click here to read) but i was wanting to try the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, I managed to get it and I LOVE it. It lasts all day on my face and it looks beautiful, it's got a really nice coverage, the colour I got is a little bit too dark for me, so when I go to New York next week a lighter colour is deffo on my list!
Mac brought out a collection in January and there was a lipstick in it called A Sprinkle Of Magic, it is aaaaamaaazing. I love it. When I first saw this colour it didn't stand out but when it's on it's so fab! I've been loving it, it makes my lips look so plump! Sticking to lips I've been loving the MAC x Ariana Grande VIVA GLAM lipglass. I don't know what it is about this gloss but it's the best gloss I've used! It's amazing! I need to stock up because it's sold out in my store, it's a must have for my makeup bag! I've also been loving the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams! My fave is Athens!

I obviously have some makeup geek eyeshadows to mention! Bitten, Cocoa Bear, Americano & Bada Bing have been my GO TO shades all month, I couldn't stop using them! Mixed with my next favourite Melba blush by mac cosmetics, but not on my cheeks, in my crease! I've been starting with Melba blush, then adding a little bit of Cocoa Bear, Bitten then Bada Bing or Americano! And wearing on the lid my next favourite Peaches and Cream pigment in Peached. It's a beautiful shimmering peachy/tan colour. I can't describe it! I find the peaches pigments work amazingly with the peaches eyeshadow primer which I have been loving this month, with every shimmer eyeshadow (which is every day!) most of my favourites are eye products! My favourite inner corner and brow highlight is Nylon eyeshadow by MAC!  Another fave is the Urban Decay Glitter liner in Midnight Cowboy. I've been using this as a liner and as a all over the lid colour. And my absolute favourite lashes I think of all time are the Lilly Lashes in the style Miami! Another favourite for me and anybody who loves sparkle are these amazing brushes my friend makes, you give her your brush and she hand glues Swarovski crystals of them! Her Instagram is @Crystalfixdesigns go and check out her page! She does different coloured crystals but the rainbow is my personal favourite. I wish they were as sparkly in the pictures they are unreal in real life!

My go to palette.

This palette is the palette I use every single day. It has all of my go to eyeshadows in. It's a mixture of MAC eyeshadows and Makeup Geek eyeshadows. My favourite eyeshadows to use are warm tones. There's nothing better than a warm brown copper/gold smokey eye in my books! Don't get me wrong I love using colours but my comfort zone is in this palette. I store them in a large Z palette.
On the top row we have:
Brule (mac)- it's described on the website as a soft creamy beige with a satin finish. I love using this on my lids if i'm going to do an all matte smokey eye.
Nylon (mac)- a pale gold with Icey shimmer. With a Frost finish. This is one of my favourite inner corner and bore bone highlights.
Magic Act (makeupgeek)- Light gold with yellow undertones and a foiled finish. I love using this on my lids and it's a pretty inner corner highlight.
Peach Smoothie (makeupgeek)- A light peach beige with a soft matte finish. This is one of my must haves. This is my second one and I've already got a dint in it. I wear this everyday with every makeup look. It's my perfect crease colour.
Samoa Silk (mac)- this eyeshadow was discontinued. Sowweeee. It's really similar to makeup geek peach smoothie and ABH Orange Soda.
Creme Brule (makeupgeek)- A medium sand color with a soft matte finish. This is a shade or two darker than peach smoothie I would say. I love this one in my crease.
Soft Brown (mac)- it's a soft golden peachy brown with a matte finish. I haven't used this one for a while but it's a really nice transition colour!
On the next row we have:
Texture (mac)- described as a peachy brown with shimmer. With a Velvet finish. When you look at this colour you will see a slight shimmer to it but it doesn't show up on the eyes. This is a must have in mac eyeshadows. It's the perfect warm transition colour.
Frappe (makeupgeek)- medium maple brown matte. This is very similar to mac texture but it's different. Spoken like a true makeup addict. I love this colour in the crease also. Peach smoothie, Creme Brule and then frappe are the same colour family I would say.
Latte (makeupgeek)- described as a matte medium brown. This is similar to Frappe but I would say that this shade is a lot more neutral/slight hint of cooler tones.
Amber Lights (mac)- on the website this shade is described as a peachy brown with shimmer with a frost finish. It's a gold with a hint of bronze/copper with a HIGH sheen. It's very metallic and very intense. I love this all over the lid, in a smokey eye, it's amazing however you use it.
Grandstand (makeupgeek)- described as a medium rose gold with slight taupe undertones with a foiled finish. This eyeshadow is amazing. It's the most perfect rose gold shade it's so metallic and amazing! I love this colour in a warm brown smokey eye, or if you use it with more berry tones it's incredible!
Goddess (makeupgeek)- a metallic pale copper is how it's described. It's a beautiful soft slightly shimmery bronze/copper. I love using this if i'm doing a spotlight eye, I use this them a darker shade for a nice blend. It's probably the least pigmented makeup geek shadow in this palette.
Roulette (makeupgeek)- it's described as a rosy burnt sienna with a shimmery finish. It's the most amazing coppery bronze eyeshadow. It's so pigmented. It's amazing. So beautiful.
Moving on to the next row:
Chickadee (makeupgeek)-  it's described as a matte yellow orange. This colour is so different from anything I've ever seen/used. It's beautiful to blend out in the crease. It adds a beautiful warth to the look.
Rule (mac)- this shade is described as a vivid orange and that's exactly what it is. It has a matte finish and like chickadee it's amazing in the crease or to blend out browns.
Red Brick (mac)- is described as an orange red with a matte red. This eyeshadow is more red than orange but there is a lot of orange to the colour also. It's beautiful for the same reasons the last two eyeshadows.
Coppering (mac)- it's described on the website as an orange copper but I think this shade is more red than anything. I love this shade it's so beautiful. It's amazing mixed with Amber lights also.
Cocoa Bear (makeupgeek)- described as a matte reddish brown. This eyeshadow is the most amazing matte reddy/brown/sienna colour ever. It's super pigmented. I use this nearly everyday.
Bitten (makeupgeek)- matte deep maroon red. This is me in a eyeshadow currently. I've been wearing it everyday pretty much since I got this eyeshadow. It's so pigmented. I also love Cherry Cola but it's almost identical to bitten but it's a lot darker. They picture the same so it seemed pointless
Brown Script (mac)- it's a warm chestnut brown with a matte finish. It's a beautiful colour. If you love warm shades this one you will love.
Now for the last row:
Bronze (mac)- a frost finish eyeshadow. Gold brown with gold bronze shimmer. As it says in the name, this eyeshadow is the definition of bronze. I've not used this for a while buts it's gorgeous all over the lid blended out with warm colours.
Swiss Chocolate (mac)- it's described as a muted reddish brown with a matte finish. This is a soft warm brown. I love to use this on the outer v first before applying a darker brown.
Folie (mac)- this shade is described as a reddish plum brown. This eyeshadow has lots of red to it. It's one of my favourites, it's literally a step upward on the colour scale from Swiss chocolate.
Embark (mac)- an intense reddish brown with a matte finish. The last two shades I've mentioned are so similar but so different. I'm glad I have them all. This is amazing to add lots of depth to the outer corner.
Americano (makeupgeek)- this eyeshadow is described as a dark brown with subtle purple undertones and a matte finish. I would say it's a very warm brown. It's also very dark. This is one of my favourite brown shades. I love this for the same reason as embark. This is a more pigmented version.
Bada Bing (makeupgeek)- this shade is a deep brown with flecks of gold. Once applied on the eyes I would say the gold does not show up at all. It's the deepest brown and it's amazing!
Antiqued (mac)- this shade is a beautiful shimmery warm brown with lots of red undertones. It's beautiful. It's amazing buffed under the lower lash liner over teddy liner also my mac.

That's all the shadows in my go to palette. I use these colour everyday, I would reccomend any of these shades. I will leave a link with my makeup geek eyeshadow collection and top 10 incase you wanted to see more makeup geek eyeshadows. You can purchase them from BeautyBay.com.
Hope you liked this post!

My favourite foundations at the moment.

Hi my loves just a little post on my fave foundations at the moment. I get lots of questions daily about foundations. I personally have oily skin so if you have dry skin some of these might not work for you, but if you are interested in any of these foundations head down to your makeup counters and ask for a sample!

I always start off by priming my skin with the MAC Natural Radiance primer and I use a damp beauty blender to apply my foundation/concealer.
My favourite foundation right now is the EX1 Invisiwear liquid foundation. I really really love this foundation. I wrote about it in my 2015 Favourites post. It's just so natural but gives a nice coverage. It's enriched with light diffusers to cleverly detract light away from lines, wrinkles and blemishes. It's creates a natural, skin-on-skin effect. I think this foundation would work for dry, combination or oily skin. I have no issues with it at all and I don't powder my face. I get mine from Lookfantastic.com
Next is the foundation I used before the ex1 foundation, it's the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. This foundation is very different to others I've used. It's super full coverage but natural looking and very highly pigmented. You only need a little bit and it goes a very long way, but it's very lightweight. If you have dry skin i'm not sure if you would like this. I've heard it's not the best for you drier girlies. Get a sample if your curious! Next is an oldie but a goodie, MAC Studio Fix Fluid. This is a full coverage foundation with a matte finish. This foundation is macs most popular foundation I would say and this is the main foundation in my kit as it does what it says! It's long wearing and perfect for girls going on nights out. I used to wear this as my everyday foundation. I work with this foundation at work every day and it really is a great foundation. I also really love this foundation to mix with some others. I've mixed this foundation with the Chanel Vitalumière, which is a lightweight foundation, I would say it's a lightweight light/medium coverage. I love it mixed with the studio fix for a long lasting foundation with a slight glow to it, as i'm oily I don't like to much shine. I also love it mixed with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. It's a lightweight 'buildable' coverage, I would say it's more a light to medium coverage. It says it's for all skin types but when I use it on it's own it wears off my skin really quickly. I know some oily girls love this and I know that the girls I work with who have dry skin loooove it.
There are so many foundations out there and the only way to find the perfect one for you is to try them. I really want to try the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. Remember these are the foundations I've been liking and they might be different for you!
I hope you liked this post.
Lots of love

Must Have Makeup Brushes!

I did a 'must have makeup brushes' post back in 2014, and since then my brush collection has grown and I want to share my new favourite must have brushes with you!
Lets start with eye brushes. My absolute favourite brand for eyeshadow brushes is ZOEVA. I did a blog post back in January about the Rose Golden Complete eye set (click here to read that) and since then I have purchased TWO more of those sets. The brushes are incredible.
My first must have is the Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease. This brush is exactly like a MAC 224 but it is so much softer. As I can find the 224 a little bit scratchy. This is the first brush I use when doing my eyeshadow it's my favourite blending brush! Then we have the Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer, this could be compared to the MAC 217 but I find it's flatter and bigger, I still love this brush I use this to add a darker shade into my crease to add more depth it's super soft and blends shadows beautifully. Next is the Zoeva 231 Luxe Petit Crease, I LOVE this brush. When I first got it I didn't really rate it but now I love it and I use it every time I do my eyes. I use this to put colour (usually a dark shade) on my outer V. I really love this brush for that. Then is the Zoeva 224 Luxe Defined Crease, this is a skinny tapered blending brush, it's perfect for making all of your eyeshadows really really blended, I like using this to apply a transition colour and just building up the colour. Then we have the Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky Shader, this brush I have so many of, it looks like the MAC 239 brush and it performs the exact same. This one is 100% a must have. Next is the Zoeva 317 Wing Liner, personally on myself i don't really wear liner but when I do I use this, but this is the brush I use on my clients for the really sharp winged liner. Then is the Zoeva 237 Detail Shader, I love this for my inner corners, my brow bone, pigments/glitters, this brush can be used for all kinds of things. I love it!  All of the brushes I just spoke about are from the Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set, the set comes with 12 brushes. All of them are amazing but these are just my must have brushes. Then we have the Zoeva 223 Petit Eye Blender, I personally don't use this for blending as the brush is very dense and tiny. I love this for highlighting my inner corner. I love a really intense inner corner highlight and because the brush is so dense this give me exactly what I want. Now for my last Zoeva brush, the 232 Luxe Classic Shader, I originally bought this thinking it was a flat shader, which it is but it's slightly longer. I hadn't really used this brush until recently, I have started using this for buffing eyeshadow under my lower lash line, which I have to do! My makeup isn't complete without a blended under eye. This brings me to the next brush the MAC 252, this is THE BEST brush for blending out under your lower lash line, I don't know what it is but it just works. This brush is quite expensive that why I included the last Zoeva brush, but nothing does it better than this brush! Then is a must have for everyone, the MAC 242, i'm sure you've heard about this brush, it's great for carving out your brows and it's the best for getting pigments and glitters on the lid. I'm a huge pigment girl so this brush is a staple in my collection. Then is probably the most famous brush ever, the MAC 217. It's the perfect shape, it can be used to blend, pack colour on the outer V, it's just a classic brush. Then lastly for eye brushes is the MAC 263, this is the brush I use for my eyebrows, it's not super dense so it doesn't apply too much product or make them look harsh, it's perfect. I just want to say the Zoeva brushes are the quality of MAC but there prices range from £6 for eye brushes! Which is just amazing. And I can honestly say I have never seen a Zoeva brush shed any of it's bristles!
I do have 3 favourite face brushes, but for my foundation/concealer I still swear by the
Original BeautyBlender! Highlighting is my favourite part of doing my makeup and I was on the hunt for the perfect brush for so long and I finally found it! It's the Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 Pro Face Detail brush. It is so soft and it is the perfect shape for highlighting! I love love lovvvvve it!! Next is my favourite bronzer brush, the MAC 129. I think this brush is the perfect size and it does the job well! I'm yet to find a more affordable dupe for this. Lastly is the brush I use for blush, you could 100% use the one I just talked about but I love the MAC 129 SH (Short Handled) brush. It is the exact same brush but it has a shorter handle. I just prefer using this one for blush, the shorter handle give me more control. I will leave links down below where you can purchase the brushes I have mentioned today! To clean all of my brushes I use the MAC Brush Cleanser. I have used this for years and I find it's the easiest/quickest way to clean them!
I hope this wasn't to long for you all and I hope you find some brushes you love! Let me know some of your favourite brushes! Don't forget to follow my Instagram @ellietaylorrxx for daily posts!

2015 Favourites.

2015 was a fab year for makeup. I've definitely had a lot of favourites. I'm going to be picking out some of my must haves of the year and also some of my favourite brushes. Would you like me to do an updated favourite brushes? As a lot has changed since the last post. I will leave links down below on where you can buy the products I talk about today.
Just some of my favourites!

Let's start off the 2015 faves with face products! Still the same as last year, my favourite primer is Natural Radiance by mac cosmetics. This primer just really works for me and for my clients, I've tried so many primers and I always come back to this one. I've gone through four of these! Now for foundations. I have had a few different favourite foundations this year, but the one i'm currently using and i'm half way through my second bottle is the EX1 Invisiwear foundation. This only comes in 5 shades, I use F100 (I have just bought two more bottles as we speak). I have never wore a foundation and had so many compliments on my skin! Everyday when i'm working I get so many compliments. It gives a nice coverage but it looks like skin! I have already had lots of people ask me about this on Instagram, I have very oily skin and this foundation works for me. I wear my makeup for over 12 hours a day and this stays put. I love it! My favourite way to apply it is with a damp Beauty Blender. Onto concealer. I've used a few different ones this year, my two favourites being the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer and the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. Both of these are full coverage, the Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer is very expensive, I have used mine since summer and it looks like I've only just scratched the surface a little bit goes a very long way. My favourite bronzer is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze. I don't know what it is about this bronzer but I just love it. It isn't matte or a shimmer it just gives a beautiful satin look to the skin. I love the colour, it makes my skin look naturally sunkissed. For blush my favourite blushes are from mac cosmetics. They have a huge selection! I love Trace Gold, Make You Mine, Margin and Cantaloupe. I also love Becca Cosmetics blushes. Now for my favourite makeup item Highlighter. There has been two mega ones this year that I cannot live without, Becca Cosmetics X Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop! I bought two on the launch date and then when I got it I loved it that much I bought another. I had to get mine on sephora but now it's sold on Cult beauty and Space NK in the UK. And then I think i'm number 1 fave is Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood. This is the most perfect highlighter ever. If you don't like an intense glow then you won't like this, it's so shiny and metallic! Which I LOVE!
Now eyes/brows. My favourite brow product of the year is the Brow Fluidline in True Brunette by mac cosmetics. I love this products. It's similar to the ABH Dipbrow but the texture is softer. It lasts for ages! Now onto eyes. If you didn't read my last blog post (I'll put a link) it's very clear that my favourite eyeshadows are Makeup Geek! They are the most pigmented, easy to blend shadows I've used! And there are SO many colours to choose from. I also love loose pigments. Some of my favourite brands for pigments are mac cosmetics and Peaches and Cream (Stella & Disco are my FAVES), I've also been obsessed with glitter and mac do my favourites. My favourite base to apply before my shadows is the Soft Ochre Paintpot by mac! I wear false eyelashes every day and I have so many favourites. I love the Eldora lashes in H167's they are sold out at the minuet and i'm desperate for more but this brand has amazing lashes! Deffo check them out if you love lashes. I also use these lashes in my freelance kit. I also love the Wispie Sweet Nothings by Velour Lashes and the Lilly Lashes in Miami. I also really love the House of Lashes lashes in the style Siren! I love a feathery wispy lash. For lipstick/lipliner there is one brand I can always rely on. Mac cosmetics have the best lipstick and lipliner selection. Some of my favourites are (lipliners) Stripdown, Spice, Nice and Spicy, Morning Coffee, Double Time (lipsticks) Myth, Shy Girl, Pure Zen, Sweet & Sour, Peachstock.

My Makeup Geek eyeshadow collection & Top 10

Hello my loves. I am so sorry for being gone for so long but I have even super busy with work. So I thought I'd kick off my 2016 with a MAKEUP GEEK EYESHADOW COLLECTION and my top 10 favourites/must haves.

So the smaller palette at the bottom with the 9 eyeshadows in are the eyeshadows I first got off the Makeup Geek website and I have a post on them I'll add a link at the bottom of the page if you want to see what I thought.
These eyeshadows are hands down my favourite ever eyeshadows! And I have really exciting news, now for us makeup artists in the UK BeautyBay.com has started selling them, the large Z palettes are full of ones I bought off there. So I have the palette on the left with more neutral tones in and them the palette on the right which is full of bright colours! These eyeshadows are £4.95 each!!! The quality and pigmentation is amazing! Better than any other eyeshadows I've used. The brand do a few different formulas of eyeshadows, Foiled eyeshadows and DuoChrome eyeshadows and then there normal eyeshadows which come in lots of different finishes including shimmers, frosts and there new Matte shades! If it's not obvious I've gone a little crazy buying more than 40 products since they launched on BeautyBay!! I will name all the shades I have! In the first palette (on the left, going from top to bottom l-r) I have Mai Tai, Cupcake, Petal Pusher, Unexpected and Vintage. Then Mango Tango, Roulette, Bitten, Cherry Cola, Mocha, Bada Bing and Americano. Then Mirage, In the Spotlight, Starry Eyed, I'm Peachless, Beaches and Cream, Magic Act and lastly Desert Sands. A quick sidenote Desert Sands is a Dupe for MAC's Uninterrupted, which has been discontinued, so if you love that eyeshadow you will love this one even more as the pigment is SO much better! Moving on to the Colours. From top to bottom (L-R) Boo Berry, Centre Stage, Duchess, Caitlyn Rose, Motown, Curfew, Day Dreamer. The one on its own is Mermaid. The next row of greens, we have Houdini, Envy, Enchanted Forest, Dirty Martini, Jester, Havoc and Karma. Then lastly Corrupt, Barcelona Beach, Concrete Jungle, Graphite, HighWire and Charmed. If you have been considering these eyeshadow I couldn't recommend them enough! Now on to my Top 10.
These would be the eyeshadows I would reccomend a first time Makeup Geek buyer (that is if you love warm tones!!)
1. Magic Act, this is a Foiled eyeshadow. So if you don't like shimmer maybe stay away from these but these are like no other eyeshadows I've used. 2. Peach Smoothie, if you follow me on Instagram if not.. @ellietaylorrxx. You will know that i used this eyeshadow every day! I bought this one back in spring last year and I had just ran out when they launched on BB. This is my second. 3. Crème Brulee, a slightly darker version of Peach Smoothie but I love this for different reasons! 4. Frappé, again another step darker. This is like mac Texture. A must have. 5. Grandstand, another foiled eyeshadow. It's a warm soft bronze/rose gold. It's beautiful. 6. Cocoa Bear, this is a MUG classic! It's a super warm rich brown. I love this one! 7. Roulette, a beautiful rose gold/copper. It is sooo pigmented and gorgeous. 8. Bitten, this shade I wanted from the first order I did but was sold out. I waited so so long to get this one. It doesn't swatch great but when it's applied it's amazingggg! 9. Americano, this is a deep brown with a slight burgundy undertone. I've been using this one every day. 10. Bada Bing, this is a really dark classic brown, it has flecks of gold glitter in it but it doesn't pick up on the eye.

So that's it guys. My makeup geek collection and top ten. I am still waiting for one to be delivered as I got sent a wrong shade and there are still lots and lots of shadows I still want. I put mine in a Large Z palette which I also buy from Beauty Bay. Head over there and treat yourself to some of these amaaaaazing eyeshadows!
If you want to know anything else, leave me a comment! Have a fab day!
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
