The Glamour Beauty Power List 2014 box

Latest in Beauty is my favourite place to get beauty boxes from. I like them because you can see what's in them so you can decide if you want to buy it or not. There's no subscription needed. I love beauty boxes because you get to try so many different products and find new loves. They always have amazing boxes which are always great value for money! I also love the fact they have a 'build your own box' section, I love the fact you can do this, there's a selection of full size and deluxe size samples that you can pick from and buy once to try the product out to see if you love it! How great is that!?

The most recent one I got was The Glamour Beauty Power List 2014 box! This is full of products that Glamour magazine put on their Beauty Power List!

My favourites from this box are the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Eyeko eye makeup remover wipes and the Philip Kingsley daily damage defence spray! These are 3 products I really love and will be repurchasing when they run out! My favourites from the box

Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadows.

The first product I used from Anastasia Beverly Hills were the Dipbrows and fell in love straight away. But I didn't buy them the first time I saw them, I used to go on to CultBeauty.co.uk everyday and browse through the ABH line. And every time I used to look I saw the Lavish Palette from her, I used to put it into my basket everyday and tell myself I'll buy it when I get paid and I never did and then it sold out! It sold out everywhere. So I told myself the next eyeshadow palette that Anastasia brought out I'd buy straight away! Then the Amrezy Palette came out. I was on holiday with my boyfriend and I bought it without thinking twice and I was so glad I did! These eyeshadows are AMAZING. Literally. They are SO pigmented and creamy they are everything you could want from an eyeshadow and more! After I found out how amazing these shadows were I went on a hunt to find the Lavish Palette and when I found it I bought it, again no second thoughts, and again the shadows were amazing, creamy, pigmented! And from the first time I saw how amazing the shadows were I told myself that I needed to own every palette that comes out! A few months later the Maya Mia palette came out, obviously I bought it! Here are some pictures of my palettes!

Amrezy Palette

Lavish Palette
Maya Mia Palette

I think my favourite palette is the Amrezy palette because it has the perfect blending shades and shimmers and there warm toned, which I love. The only colours i'm not a fan of in this palette is the purple and green just because I don't wear colour. But every other colour in this palette is amazing. If I could make a palette of 10 shades out of the colours in these palettes I'd have Cream, Glisten, Topaz, Rum Cake, Orange Soda, Caramel, Morocco, Vanilla, Fresh Peach & Deep Plum. These are my favourites and are the colours I use the most!

These palettes are amazing, the shadows are such high quality you only need to tap your brush in to get amazing colour pay off I highly recommend them! In the UK the palettes are usually £24 in the US there around $29 which is amazing for 10 shadows. The pans may look small but they will last ages because of how much pigment they have.

I purchase ABH at www.cultbeauty.co.uk
www.anastasiabeverlyhills.com ships world wide

There is a new Palette that launched yesterday on the ABH website it's the Tamanna  Palette which is a collaboration with @dressyourface on Instagram it's already on the Anastasia website but will be launching in the UK around the 25th of September on Cult Beauty so keep an eye out for that!

Thank you and I hope I have helped you if you are considering these eyeshadows!

Makeup

On Tuesday night me and my boyfriend went watching Pharrell and this was my makeup for it! I went for a quite smokey look with a darker shade all over the lid with warm colours in the crease!
Through my brows I used my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate, to highlight my brow bone I used Prolongwear concealer in NC20 and Gesso Shadow from MAC.  I primed my lid using Soft Ocher Paintpot by mac. I always use a Paintpot to prime my eyes!  So for my eyes I started off using Orange Soda from the ABH Lavish Palette to blend then I used Caramel and Morocco from the Amrezy Palette to deepen the crease! I spend a lot of time blending to make sure each colour blends perfectly in to the other!
On my lid I packed on Swiss Chocolate by
Mac this is one of my favourite brown shades ever! I used it from inner corner to outer corner! Over the top of it I used Damson Pressed Pigment, this product was limited edition but it's just a really dark purple with gold glitter, you could use any gold glitter! Lastly I repeated all the shades on top of my eye under my lash line, I used Orange Soda, Caramel, Morocco and Swiss Chocolate and blended it out. I used Eldora lashes in the style H160! These lashes are amazing one of my favourite styles!
On my lips I have Spice Lip liner and Myth lipstick both by MAC!

Lipstick collection

My makeup collection is very big and it's still growing! I have drawers full of skincare, face products, eye products and then lip products. Now if you know me or follow me on Instagram you will know how much of a lip ADDICT I am. I love buying lipsticks, lipgloss, lipliner! Just anything lip related. My lip draw has to be my favourite even though it's a big mess, I just love the chaos of this draw!

My lip draw.
This draw is as full as full can be! I just love it! There's 2 acrylic lipstick holders which I got from ebay, these used to originally hold all of my mac lipsticks, but then my collection got too big so it had to be moved! These acrylic holders hold 24 lipsticks each. The first one is full of my more 'high end' lipsticks like Tom Ford, Chanel, YSL, Dior, Armarni, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars and there's some Illamasqua lipsticks in there aswell as an Urban Decay one.  The one behind that holds a mixture of high end and drugstore brands such as NYX, Bobbi Brown, Lime Crime, Smashbox, Bare Minerals, Make Up For Ever and some Mac Sheen Supremes.  Next to the lipstick holders is the big mess of my lipglosses! I have so many lipglosses and I don't even realise! The ones either side of my lip liners look a lot tidier than the bigger one in the back! The little basket things they're in are from IKEA, everything in my makeup drawers are kept in these little baskets! It's funny looking at my lipglosses because there all nude & peach! I love a nude lip and if i'm ever going to try out a new product I always purchase it in a nude or a peach because they are my 'safe' colours and wear them near enough everyday! Most of my lipglosses are mac as I work there! But there's also some Bobbi Brown, NYX, Illamasqua & Bare Minerals. The basket in the back holds my most used lipglosses, there's some Gerard Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Chanel, Dior, YSL & Nars to name a few! Some of my Favourites include the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks, I have these in the shades 239 & 219 and I love these! They stay glossy and on your lips all day! I love my Gerard Cosmetic glosses there so pigmented and creamy. I am also a fan of the YSL Glossy Stains these are sheerer than the Dior Fluid Sticks but they leave a stain/tint on the lip and stay super glossy!  The last thing to talk about in this draw are my lip liners. I cannot wear a lipstick/lipgloss without one! I have SO many! Mac are my favourites for lipliner because there are so many colours to choose from! My favourite lipliner from Mac is Stripdown it may be my all time favourite lipliner! Other than Mac lip liners I have Topshop (these are amazing and creamy! Just not as long wearing as a mac lipliner) Sephora, NYX (amazing lip liners!) Bare Minerals (another favourite of mine) Nars & Model Co. and more!  My Mac lipstick collection isn't kept in this draw as it got soooo big it needed its own set of drawers...

So this is my mac lipstick collection
It's embarrassing how many I actually own! In these draws I have 112 mac lipsticks! I know i'm obsessed! I can't resist when A limited edition collection comes out, the first thing I look at is the lipsticks, it's even better if there in limited edition packaging! Some of my favourite packaging this year has been the Alluring Aquatics collection, it was metallic turquoise with 3D water droplets! It was so cute!  All of my lipsticks are in colour order, so when I buy a new on they all get moved around so the new one can fit it! I sometimes take a picture of them all lined up with there lids off but now I only do it when there's quite a few new lipsticks going in because it takes sooooo long to take all the lids off and put them back on! These are my babies, my pride and joy! I love love love when I buy a new lipstick and it goes in here. I know it's a weird addiction but I love it! I love how it looks and it's definitely my favourite thing in my room and my makeup collection!

I hope you liked this post and if there is anything in particular you'd like to see in more detail in a blog post comment down below and I'll get to it!

So I was lucky enough to receive an amazing parcel off Anastasia Beverly Hills yesterday full of lots of amazing products! I'm already a huge fan of Anastasia's products including the Dipbrow, eyeshadows and Contour Kit so when this parcel came I was so excited to try more products from the amazing range!!

In this parcel I received 3 Dipbrows in the shades Soft Brown, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. I already use the Dipbrow in Chocolate so I know I love this product already! I also received the Brow Pro Palette this is so amazing! It has every brow shade you will ever need in it, it's a must have for any freelance kit! They also sent me the Brow Wiz in Soft Brown, Brunette and Chocolate, I've never used these but I really wanted to so i'm excited to try these out! I was also sent the Clear Brow Gel, I've heard lots of good things about the product and it didn't disappoint, I really want to try the tinted ones now I've tried this! In the parcel I also received the new Waterproof Creme Colour in Jet which is a black gel eyeliner, it's amazing it does not budge! I also received the Contour Kit which I already know I love! This product was hyped up to the max and it's worth the hype! The shades are so perfect! Anastasia has brought out 27 new contour and highlight shades that you can now create a palette and choose the shades to go in to it, you can purchase the contour refill pans at Anastasiabeverlyhills.com. I really want to try out the new shades and see what they are like! I was also sent the brushes in 12 (synthetic angled brow brush with a comb on) and 3 which is a liner brush and also the tweezers! If you've been wondering about these products and if you should try them out the answer is definitely! These products are so high quality and a little goes a long way!

Some of my favourite hauls from this summer!

Confessions of a shopaholic

I buy a lot of makeup I know I do, everyone is always telling me how much of a shopaholic I am, and I know I am, i'm a self confessed shopaholic. I must buy new makeup every day or at least every other day. There's always a parcel waiting at my house and it makes me happy! Everyone always tells me 'you buy too much makeup!' And I really don't care, shopping/buying makeup makes me happy! Getting a new highlighter or new lipstick can brighten any bad day! I don't buy anything other than makeup (and black clothes for work!) If you get the same joy opening up your new makeup your in the right place!
